Furniture and game-playing items

Miniature furniture and playing items were used to decorate a doll house or play a game of house duties. Older specimens were made of wood and were actually handicrafts made by skillful parents as replicas of real pieces of furniture used at the time. New and modern items of furniture are mostly factory-made toys, produced mostly from plastic and metal, as well as wood to a certain degree. This class also preserves traditional wooden toys of Hrvatsko zagorje. A special section is reserved for game-playing items such as a plastic refrigerator containing food, a laundry washing machine, an iron, a sewing machine, and various pieces of kitchenware (wooden, tin or plastic). Some specimens feature minute details intended to make them as similar as possible to the real utility items.
